Wonderful new find. I never have seen any of this video before but it is essentially the Old Grey Whistle Test broadcast with the added bonus of some songs that were performed before the show begins. The video and audio quality is good. There is a counter in the center bottom of the screen which is the only drawback of this dvd but all in all it is exciting and very enjoyable to see this performance. Just what you expect from an Elton show in 74 from throwing piano stool to dancing on the piano etc. 1 hour 22 minutes

Elton is co-host along with Diana Ross Many guests and performers. Elton was brilliant, naughty and daring throughout. The recording must be taken from a big dish because this was a direct network feed. During the commercial breaks Elton and Diana are mostly filmed nervously awaiting the break to be over. The quality is that of a 1970's broadcast. Faded color and a little mixed at times but all in all watchable.

Elton is the guest and is on stage the whole time. He is interviewed and performs We All Fall In Love Sometimes and then Michael Cain comes on and is interviewed along with Elton and Elton plays Pub piano at the end.
